This book was ass, the writing style is uninteresting and too many scenes were described rather than shown.
I have school no regular reading and some dates may be wrong from March

I'm going to be completely honest I read this while my brain was busted. Overall, good read. It's interesting and will be doing more research on it in the future!

I forgot to write my thoughts down on this. Let it be known that I have manternal insticts for Frankenstein's monster and think about this book often.

This was a lovely read, it tackled the intersection of AI and racism quite well and had nice insight into the art world.
Both of the main girls are sapphic as well! Which is a big plus for me, and, as always, the artwork was great! I loved the use of colours.
It's been a while since I read this (I completed it February and I'm writing this in April 😓), so I'm hoping to re-read it again someday and create a more in-depth review, as some details of the plot are a bit hazy for me.
Consider this a "temporary" review for now.

I wish I liked this, but I just couldn't get into it! I wanted to DNF at the first page but since it was a 200 page graphic novel I decided to go through with it, but in the end--no, it's just not for me; not the art style nor humor.
That being said it's an unabashedly queer graphic novel and if you want an easy read, I'd say go for it!

A cozy slice of life fantasy book focusing on the central character--Viv as she trades a life of brutal glory for the quiet simplicity of coffee. She befriends a cast of genial characters with unique personalities as her cafe grows into a hub for the working lady and gent.

The Picture of Dorian Gray as a book--while short, offered an amazing experience. Extravagant riches, philosophy, obsession, and the plight of beauty.

I enjoyed the writing style of this book. Mr. Kong was delightfully strange and a freak of a office worker and the stories of the symptomers were nothing short of amazing! My favourite short story has to be the one where a man is dealing with a doppelganger, and how they interacted with one another. I only wish that it didn't feel like the story had a switch up on it's short stories though.
